現代人講求健康,對於飲食開始斤斤計較,希望可以保持身材或達到減重效果, 但最後卻導致營養失衡,身體的健康反而每下愈況,其實在英文裡有一句關於 DIET的話,"吃什麼,像什麼" (You're what you eat),也就是吃的像樣,才 能保持健康此句話其實源於法國Anthelme Brillat-Savarin在1826, Physiologie du Gout, ou Meditations de Gastronomie Transcendante所寫的 "Dis-moi ce que tu manges, je te dirai ce que tu es." [Tell me what you eat and I will tell you what you are], 表述的意思是(the food one eats has a bearing on what one's state of mind and health./一個人所吃的食物,關係著一個人身心的健康) Ex: Ninety per cent of the diseases known to man are caused by cheap foodstuffs. You are what you eat (百分之90的人類疾病是劣質的食物所引起的,你吃什麼,就像什麼?)
