忙碌一直是現代人的寫照,最常被使用的字就是Busy,

ex: I'm as busy as a bee.(我跟蜜峰一樣的忙碌),

有時候遇到很久不見的朋友,會問道:What have you been busy with lately?

(你最近都在忙些什麼呀?),

除了busy之外,我們再來看看還有那些字和忙碌相關:

1. occupied (adj) 指使用中的, 佔用的,沒有空閒的 (時間;空間), occupied with = busy with (於忙.....)

   a.  I've been occupied with writing a report. (我最近忙於寫報告)

    b. The job hunting has kept me occupied  for a while. (找工作的事情讓我忙了好一陣子)

2. hectic ( adj) 指很忙亂的,忙得不可開交的

    a. It was absolutely a hectic day in the office today.

            (今天在辦公室真是忙得不可開交)

    b. He is too old to maintain his hectic schedule.

            (他太老了,沒辦法再持續他忙碌的行程)

3. engaged in (Phr.) 指忙於....事

     a. She is engaged in her business. (她忙於她的事業)

     b. They've been engaged in doing the cancer research.

(他們最近忙於做腫瘤的研究調查)
